CORAPAN® AL 150 is our composite sandwich panel for construction. It is used as a substitute for wood or concrete because of the good weight-to-strength ratio and weather resistance. The product sets standards in terms of surface quality.

CORAPAN® AL 150 is a sandwich composite panel of the CORAPAN® product family with our in-house core, CORACEL®. CORAPAN® AL 150 uses aluminum for the outer layers. The core is optimized in its flammability so that the product is perfectly suitable for use in the construction sector.

CORAPAN® AL 150 offers the following advantages compared to alternative solutions:

  • Light and stable:

    Due to the sandwich construction, CORAPAN® AL 150 has a very good weight-to-strength ratio which is far better than the values of concrete or wood. Another outstanding quality is the permanent form stability of the product.

  • Flammability:

    Building material class B1 according to DIN 4102

  • Unmatched surface quality:

    The surface quality of the CORAPAN product family is unmatched in terms of evenness and absence of defects. This quality is a result of our discontinuous production process, in which the core is compacted with the outer layers in the press and cured under temperature.

  • Large and variable formats

    Formats up to 10'000x 2'610mm and any thickness between 10 and 100mm are available.

  • Weather resistance:

    The products of the CORAPAN® product family with aluminum topcoat do not weather, which is impressively documented with a track record of several decades. The cell structure of the core is closed.

  • Customer-specific inlays:

    Due to our manufacturing process, inlays can be simply inserted. Inlays serve as reinforcement, fastening points, etc. With inlays, the produced panel becomes a functional product, specifically tailored to the customer’s requirements.

We produce formats, cut-to-size, edge finish and inlays according to your specifications.

CORAPAN® AL 150 fulfils the requirements for use of indoor construction products and complies with the French VOC regulation of emission class A +.
