Exceptional soffit for a Herzog & de Meuron project

On behalf of Ernst Schweizer AG, we were able to produce an exceptional soffit for the Helvetia extension building in St. Gallen. The elements for the Herzog & de Meuron project are based on a sandwich construction due to the high demands on the bending stiffness. The outer layers are made of black mirrored chrome steel, which makes the soffit look very spectacular.
The panels were manufactured in such a way that the electrical system could be integrated into the panel. In addition, the brackets had been mounted in our factory so that we were able to supply ready-to-install elements.
