CORAPAN® GRP 85 is our sandwich composite panel with the robust surface. It is mainly used in vehicle construction.
CORAPAN® GRP 85 is a sandwich composite panel of the CORAPAN® product family with our own manufactured core, the CORACEL®. CORAPAN GRP 85 uses GRP for the face sheets. The core is lightweight, making the product ideal for use in vehicle construction.
CORAPAN® GRP 85 offers the following advantages compared to alternative solutions:
One sheet - one core:
Unlike the other sheets available on the market, Corapan® GRP 85 consists of one core piece up to a size of 6000x2200mm. This is unique and enables excellent surfaces and the best possible stability.Lightweight and stable:
CORAPAN® GRP 85 is a lightweight panel with excellent stability at low weight. The core is manufactured and bonded to the top layer in a single step. In contrast to all other boards on the market, no adhesive is required for bonding the core to the top layer. The weight per unit area (at 25mm thickness) is thus roughly equivalent to a board with a RG60 foam.Large and variable formats:
Sizes up to 10'000x 2'450mm and any thickness between 15 and 60mm are available.Robust surface:
GFK is robust and therefore offers good protection against injury to the surface of any kind.Customised inserts:
Due to our manufacturing process, inserts can be easily inserted. Inserts serve as reinforcement, fixing points, etc. With inserts, a functional, customised product is created from a board.
